The Captain’s intention to return the souls of his daughters into their partially preserved bodies came from a place of love and desperation. Unfortunately, these motivations blinded the Captain to the reality that two daemons climbed through the gate and stole the bodies of the twins. These demons were all too eager to play dress up and pretend that they were in fact Abigail and Amelia. Their bedroom is a crime scene created by little “girls” attempting to blend in, the tea party of unwilling guests is their centerpiece of playtime and their dead language is scrolled onto the walls.
